Earth Talk Video: Finding God Again - The Rise of Anatheism Rupert Sheldrake

Everyone knows about theism and atheism. Anatheism is less familiar - a return to God after passing through the purifying fires of atheism. Rupert Sheldrake talks about his own personal journey and about contemporary cultural, intellectual and and social movements that are leading to a rediscovery of God.

Rupert Sheldrake
Rupert Sheldrake is one of the world’s most innovative biologists and writers, and is best known for his theory of morphic fields and morphic resonance, which leads to a vision of a living, developing universe with its own inherent memory.

He worked in developmental biology at Cambridge University, where he was a Fellow of Clare College. He was then Principal Plant Physiologist at the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (link is external) (link is external) (ICRISAT), in Hyderabad, India.
