The Elmhirst Programme opens

Mid-January will see the opening of our second venue - the Elmhirst Centre at Dartington Hall. We will be welcoming people on short courses around the theme of ‘Soul, Spirit and Story’. Click for more info

Ecological Design students arrive

Another exciting moment in the New Year is when we welcome our first postgraduate students in Ecological Design Thinking. This ground-breaking new programme puts understandings from ecological and social systems at the heart of design. Click here for more info

Food production

More hands-on learning about food growing becomes available as we plant up Quarry Field – a 5.5 acre forest garden project for our students, children, young people and local public.  

Chris Seeley

This is to let you know the very sad news, that Chris Seeley died peacefully on 3rd December 2014, surrounded by her family and friends.  Chris was a long time friend and much loved teacher at Schumacher College.  We will be holding a simple circle gathering to share memories and reflections in celebration of Chris’s life at Schumacher College on 8 January at 2.30pm.  Everyone is welcome.
