Wanted: Postgraduate Programmes Support Volunteer

Proposal to develop a consortium to bid for Parsonage Farm, Dartington

A once in a generation opportunity has arisen to bid for the farm tenancy at the heart of the Dartington Estate. A number of interested parties, including the Campaign for Real Farming and Schumacher College, believe that there is the opportunity to create a farm which reflects the core ecological principles at the heart of learning at Schumacher – including diversity, resilience and the interconnection of a wide range of operations

It was with great sadness that we learnt of Henri Bortoft’s passing away on the 29th December 2012. Henri was a hugely important philosopher of science, and, in his earlier days, an outstanding physicist who had worked closely with David Bohm on the implications of quantum mechanics for our understanding of wholeness.
