Earth Talk: The Power of No - Iain McGilchrist

Dr Iain McGilchrist Sustainability Masters
Wednesday, 4 February, 2015 - 20:00

The very word negative, which simply means ‘no’-saying, suggests that negation is unhelpful, uncreative, depressing – perhaps  even immoral.  Iain McGilchrist will argue that this is a cruel deception, a consequence of rigid, linear thinking, which, paradoxical as it may seem, ensures disappointment, failure, and misery.  Every ‘yes’ is reached only on the far side of ‘no’.
