With Speakers: Rob Hopkins, co-founder of Transition Town Totnes and the Transition Network, Professor Terry Irwin, Head of the School of Design, Carnegie Mellon University, Michel Bauwens, P2P Network and Commons Transitions; John Thackara, author of How to Thrive in the Next Economy: Designing Tomorrow’s World Today; noted futurist Stuart Candy and Cameron Tonkinwise, Professor of Design at University of New South Wales, Australia.

It’s the Dartington Summer School’s 70th birthday this year: and there’s a bumper programme, packed with acclaimed and innovative artists throughout four weeks. Imogen Cooper, Jane Glover, Felicity Lott, Tom Randle, and Adrian Brendel – as well as the brilliant folk duo Harbottle & Jonas, Trio Gaspard and the fabulous Heath Quartet – will be part of the celebrations. There are workshops and Dartington International Summer School and Festival masterclasses, coaching and concerts, premieres and new collaborations.
