Monday, 3 October, 2016 to Friday, 7 October, 2016

With guests including Stephan Harding, Jonathan Dawson and Satish Kumar

Join us for a week at Schumacher College's Elmhirst Centre as part of our learning community, surrounded by the formal gardens and wild spaces of Dartington Hall.

This is an opportunity to engage your Head, Heart and Hands with activities ranging from food foraging in the woods to night canoeing on the River Dart, from walking in Deep Time with our resident Holistic Science faculty Stephan Harding, to learning about 'economics for a new world' with Jonathan Dawson from our Economics for Transition programme.

You will have plenty of time for rest and relaxation with the opportunity to engage with our community for walks, talks, cooking and fun. This is an ideal way to experience the College for the first time.

In 1973 Satish settled in the United Kingdom taking up the post of editor of Resurgence magazine, a position he has held ever since, making him the UK’s longest-serving editor of the same magazine.
