Caroline Walker

Facilitator

Caroline worked on development projects in India for eight years before joining the staff of the Small School, Hartland, a pioneering human scale secondary school founded by Satish Kumar, where she cooked lunch with the pupils and taught Humanities and French.

Chris Salisbury

Chris Salisbury

Facilitator

Chris is the course carrier for the year-long ‘Call of the Wild’ Foundation at Schumacher College, where he also facilitates some of the short course programmes.  Chris founded WildWise in 1999 after many years working as an education officer for Devon Wildlife Trust.

Evelyn Roe

Facilitator

Evelyn lives in Scotland and explores her place as an ethnobotanist, researching plant lore in the Highlands and Islands.

Fiona Tilley

Facilitator

Tilley describes herself as a recovering academic. Having followed a conventional academic career in environmental social sciences (researcher in sustainability entrepreneurship) she stepped away from university life in 2009 and found herself at Schumacher College.

Juliana Schneider

Facilitator

Juliana was a resident at the College for two years – first as a student on the Holistic Science MSc (2011-12), then she took on a facilitative role for the postgraduate students (2012-13) and since then she has been a facilitator for numerous short courses at the College.

Rebeh Furze

Facilitator

Rebeh has a background and education in Social Ecology, Permaculture, and Holistic Science. In addition she has an abiding passion for sense of place and our experience of the wild, a love of organic growing and cooking and a deep interest in group process and facilitation.

Richenda Macgregor

Facilitator

Richenda is an Artist working in the field of Art and Ecology. She originally trained as a production potter and glassmaker and spent ten years working professionally as a Maker, Teacher and Trainer – facilitating the transformative process of making pots and glassware, and the parallel process of supporting people to empower and transform themselves.

Robin de Carteret

Facilitator

Robin is an educator, facilitator and consultant in participative education, complexity science and sustainability. He specialises in using experiential activities for investigation, learning and communication. Robin has an MSc in Holistic Science from Schumacher College.

Rosalind J. Turner

Facilitator

Since completing her post graduate diploma in humanistic psychology entitled ‘Leadership, Facilitation and Coaching’ in July 2008, Rosalind has worked with a range of groups. Interested in designing processes to help participants get the most out of a learning experience, Rosalind aims to lead with authenticity and integrity, qualities that are at the core of her work.
