Seaton Baxter
Seaton is an honorary Professor in the School of Design, University of Dundee, where he is responsible for developing research skills and knowledge, especially for M.Phil and Phd scholars. He supervises a group of students who together form the Centre for the Study of Natural Design. Seaton has carried out research for Historic Scotland and for several government departments, and on a wide range of agriculture and rural design issues. He has been on the Board of Scottish Natural Heritage and has worked with several environmental NGO’s in the voluntary sector. He is currently Chairman of Scottish Centres, a charitable organisation involved in outdoor education. He was presented with an OBE for his work on the Scottish environment.
