Donna Young is the recently appointed Head of Climate Change at BT. She was previously responsible for spearheading the introduction of broadband through the organisation and rolling out the Broadband Britain Programme. The rollout of Broadband underpinned BT’s strategy to allow flexible working for it’s employees and now 70% of employees actively work from home for some or all of the time. The rollout was unwittingly a very carbon efficient programme as supply was given only where the demand was proved!
