Don Beck
Don Beck is a former academic from the University of North Texas, USA. He has conceived and developed the global applications of Spiral Dynamics for profound impact in the 21st Century. His practical, on-the-ground work in large-scale transformational challenges have included playing a major role in the South African transition out of Apartheid. Currently he applies himself in the thick of global conflict zones, such as defusing indigenous threats from Islamic radical elements in the Dutch culture, creating innovative approaches to dealing with the Israel-Palestinian problem, and conducting a number of developmental projects in the United Kingdom, Russia, Iceland, Copenhagen, and elsewhere. Beck was named by What Is Enlightenment? Magazine the foremost “Philosopher-Activist for the 21st Century”. He was the first to discover the Graves research into adult human development and its primary disseminator to the wider world. Beck has formed a number of global Centers for Emergence to mesh the basic Spiral Dynamics concept into indigenous leadership domains to enrich unique cultures everywhere.
