F. David Peat carried out research first on solid state physics and then on the foundations of quantum theory and enjoyed a creative relationship with the late David Bohm. Peat is also the author of over twenty books including Synchronicity: The Bridge between Matter and Mind. He is currently writing a book that investigates the way reality explored in cinema. In 1996 Peat moved to a medieval hill-top village of Pari, south of Siena where he has created the Pari Center for New Learning.
