Cath Muller works for Radical Routes, a secondary co-op and mutual aid network for co-operatives working for radical social change. Through its ethical investment scheme, Rootstock, it is able to make loans to its member housing-, worker- and social centre co-operatives.
Cath has been a member of Cornerstone housing co-op since 1995 and helped found Footprint Workers Co-op, a printing business set up to provide ethical part-time employment for activists. She is currently on the steering group developing Chapeltown Development Trust and is working on a community-owned Greenspace Trust for Chapeltown. She provides training and advice on co-operative living and working for start-up co-ops and co-ops in crisis. She is particularly interested in innovative and creative legal structures for new kinds of community and social enterprise and property ownership.
