Andrew Harvey
Andrew Harvey is an internationally renowned religious scholar, writer, and teacher, and the author of over 30 books, including the critically acclaimed Way of Passion: A Celebration of Rumi, and award winning Journey to Ladakh. He is also co-author of the best-selling The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying and written for publications such as The New York Times Book Review, Yoga Journal, Body Mind Spirit, Common Boundary, and Quest. Born in south India, he studied at Oxford University and became, at the age of 21, the youngest person ever to be awarded the Fellow of All Souls College, England’s highest academic honour. He has devoted much of his life to studying the world’s various mystical traditions while living in London, Paris, New York, and San Francisco. He has taught at Oxford, Cornell, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the University of Creation Spirituality and was the subject of the 1993 BBC documentary “The Making of a Mystic.” www.andrewharvey.net
