There’s a revolution going on in the world and it’s coming from the grass roots. It’s the revolution of the sustainable entrepreneurs, mainly women, and it’s about personal growth as well as an economic tool. It’s political with a small p and it’s organic, not structured. It’s about creating value, developing relationships and being financially empowered… It’s the feminine way to create business.
When Lynne Franks first wrote these words over ten years ago, she sensed a time coming when women would move into leadership roles in a way that was far more conducive to their natural abilities than in the past. Ten years on we have indeed started to achieve validation of a different kind of business leadership that men too have started to value. But we still live in a world where the world’s largest corporations are run mostly by men, where women politicians are still in the minority and where our smartest young female graduates bang their heads on glass ceilings.
How can we create and embed a more sustainable feminine style of values-based leadership in all areas of business and society?
How do we redefine success for the individual as well as for business?
How do we change the cultures that currently exist in the business world where language and management are still based on an out-dated patriarchal system of competition, power and aggression rather than connection, community and collaboration?
Lynne Franks will introduce participants to her unique coaching and communication tools that use story-telling, experiential learning and other methods to shed light on the Art of Feminine Leadership. The group will work together to brainstorm new ideas on how to take a new kind of leadership into the world of business.
Lynne Franks is a business woman, author, broadcaster and speaker, described by the world’s media as a lifestyle guru and visionary. She is an acclaimed international spokesperson and advisor on the changes in today’s and tomorrow’s world – both for the individual as well as society at large. Her consulting experience with both the public and private sectors, her global work with women’s enterprise, and her recognised gift as a ‘futurist’ have given her considerable insight into the way forward for modern society. She is the founder of SEED – Sustainable Enterprise and Empowerment Dynamics – a provider of women’s learning and coaching programmes on economic empowerment, sustainable business practices and creative leadership.
