Ann Pettifor on New Economics and The Current Financial Crisis

This week we were fortunate to talk with visiting teacher Ann Pettifor following her recent contribution to the short course Rethinking Finance:Good Servant, Bad Master.

With increasing panic in the financial markets surrounding fears over Italian and Spanish debt and the downgrading of Ireland’s bonds to junk status we asked Ann to give her thoughts on the current European financial crisis and to explain the importance of the new MA in Economics for Transition which starts this September.

Reminder: The College is open to applications from prospective candidates for the new MA in Economics for Transition click here http://www.schumachercollege.org.uk/courses/ma-in-economics-for-transition for further details.
